The two clubs have not met recently, so there is no fresh head-to-head record to lean on. Both sides have been involved in low-scoring affairs lately – Neom with only two goals in three games and Al Khaleej with two in the same span. Given the defensive solidity shown in a few of those matches and the lack of firepower, the upcoming contest is likely to be tight and cautious. Expect few clear chances and a battle to avoid mistakes rather than an open, goal-fest.
We pick the under 3.5 goals. The price of 1.38 matches our view of a cagey affair, and the chance of it happening sits at about 73 percent. The game should stay below three and a half goals if both teams keep to the patterns we have seen – limited scoring and a focus on defence. It would go wrong for us only if one side suddenly produces a burst of goals, for example a quick two-goal strike that opens the floodgates, or if the match turns into a high-tempo contest with many chances. Barring such a swing, the under looks the safest call.
