Isloch host BATE Borisov at home in the Belarus Vysshaya Liga on 3 September 2026. Isloch sit third in the 16-team table with 38 points from 18 matches and a +17 goal difference. They are just one point behind Dinamo Minsk in fourth place and five points clear of Gomel in fifth. BATE are down at 13th with 17 points and a –6 goal difference. They sit four points behind Baranovichi in twelfth and one point ahead of Belshina Bobruisk in fourteenth. Both clubs are fighting for very different goals – Isloch are looking to keep pressure on the leaders, while BATE are trying to climb out of the relegation zone.

Isloch have been in good form lately. In their most recent three games they beat Dinamo Brest 2-0, then drew 1-1 with Shakhtyor Soligorsk, and before that they won 3-1 away at Neman Grodno. Those results give them five points from the last three matches and add two wins and a draw to their recent run. Their attack has been productive, scoring six goals while keeping the opposition to just two in that spell. The run has helped them maintain a strong goal difference and keep them near the top of the table.

BATE’s last eight games have been a mixed bag. They have won two, drawn two and lost four. The most recent result was a 2-1 home win over FC Minsk, which gave them three points. Before that they held ML Vitebsk to a 0-0 draw away, then beat Ballkani 1-0 at home, suffered a 4-1 away loss to Ballkani, drew 2-2 with Sheriff Tiraspol at home and were thrashed 5-1 away by Sheriff. In those eight games they have scored 12 and let in 23, keeping only two clean sheets and failing to find the net once. Their last three matches have all ended without defeat, but on the road they have not won in four outings, managing only one draw and three losses. They also played just four days ago, so fatigue could be a factor.

When the two sides have met before, the games have usually produced several goals and both teams tend to find the net. In six of BATE’s recent eight matches there have been three or more goals, and both sides have scored in six of those games. That pattern suggests we can expect an open encounter with chances on both ends. Isloch’s stronger defensive record and better recent form point to them being the side more likely to control the match, while BATE’s recent away struggles hint they may find it hard to keep a clean sheet.

We back Isloch to win. The numbers give Isloch an expected 1.5 goals to BATE’s 0.8, and we see a 57 % chance of a home win. The price of 1.63 is shorter than our own reading, so it looks attractive. For our pick to fail, Isloch would need to drop points after conceding early, or BATE would have to rediscover the scoring touch they showed in the win over Minsk despite the short turnaround. If either of those happens, the result could be different, but the balance of evidence still points to Isloch coming out on top.
