Den Haag v PSV Eindhoven: how it went

How it turned out

We projected about 4.1 goals; the game finished with 3. Both teams scored. We made PSV Eindhoven win & Over 1.5 80%. It lost.

What we said beforehand

We expect about 1.0 goals from Den Haag and 3.1 from PSV Eindhoven, so PSV Eindhoven come out ahead by a clear distance rather than a nose. Put together, that is around 4.1 goals in the game, and a match we expect to open up at both ends.

Den Haag come into this on two straight draws. Recent results are only ever part of the story, but they are worth knowing before kick-off.

Our pick: PSV Eindhoven win & Over 1.5. PSV Eindhoven to win, with goals — what shapes up as an open, high-scoring game (xG 1.0-3.1). The result and the goals line point the same way here.

We put the chance of that landing at about 80 out of 100. The price on offer is 1.31, which works out at about 76 out of 100. That gap is the whole reason this is on the site: we rate it more likely than the price does, and the price looks good to us because of it.
